NVIDIA’s Earth-2 AI Enhances Weather Forecasting in UAE

This system, trained on NVIDIA’s cluster of H100 GPUs, can deliver nationwide forecasts at a 2-kilometer resolution within minutes, a significant improvement over traditional methods that take hours.

The enhanced AI system also includes a second variant of the CorrDiff model, providing hyperlocal forecasts for Abu Dhabi at a 200-meter resolution. This feature captures the intricate interactions between geographic and urban factors, offering a comprehensive understanding of local weather dynamics.
