Mocaverse partners with Square Enix’s SYMBIOGENESIS to streamline Web3 user onboarding, leveraging Animoca Brands’ extensive portfolio.
Mocaverse, the prominent consumer network backed by Animoca Brands, has announced a strategic partnership with Square Enix’s SYMBIOGENESIS to facilitate the transition of users from Web2 to Web3, according to Animoca Brands.
SYMBIOGENESIS: A New Era in NFT Collectibles
SYMBIOGENESIS, an innovative NFT collectible art project by Square Enix, represents a significant leap in digital entertainment. Known for its iconic game titles like Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy, Square Enix’s SYMBIOGENESIS features 10,000 NFTs that combine collectible art with browser-based content. The project’s second chapter was released in June 2024, expanding its universe and user engagement.
Leveraging Mocaverse’s Infrastructure
Mocaverse offers an interoperable infrastructure layer encompassing Account, Identity, Reputation, and PointFi systems. This collaboration will enable SYMBIOGENESIS players to utilize Mocaverse’s on-chain digital identity, Moca ID, and its Realm Points mechanism, providing seamless access to Web3 experiences. Mocaverse’s network includes over 540 portfolio companies, enhancing the scope and reach of SYMBIOGENESIS.
Simplifying Web3 Onboarding
The partnership aims to simplify the onboarding process for a crypto-curious audience. Users can access Web3 applications using familiar Web2 social logins without the complexities of seed phrases, transaction signing, or gas fees. This initiative is expected to attract a broader range of users to the Web3 ecosystem.
