GitHub Universe 2025 reveals a packed schedule with over 100 sessions focusing on AI-powered development. The event will take place in San Francisco, offering learning and networking opportunities.
GitHub Universe 2025 has officially released its schedule, promising a dynamic lineup that highlights the potential of AI-driven development. Scheduled for October 28-29 at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco, CA, the two-day event promises over 100 sessions, demos, and panels, according to GitHub’s announcement.
Highlights of GitHub Universe 2025
This year’s conference will feature leading voices from tech giants such as Red Hat, HubSpot, CVS, and General Motors. Attendees can expect to engage in discussions on topics ranging from vibe coding and automation at scale to AI-driven security. Notably, there will be two demo stages, inclusive of unique experiences like a silent disco and donut offerings.
In addition to the sessions, participants will have opportunities for one-on-one interactions with the GitHub team, providing a platform for questions and career advice. The event also extends an Early Bird discount until September 17, offering a $400 saving on in-person passes, with additional group discounts available.
Learning Opportunities Beyond the Sessions
Beyond the central sessions, attendees can partake in several other learning experiences. For the first time, GitHub Universe includes a day of learning at GitHub HQ on October 30. This exclusive day offers GitHub or Microsoft Certification exams, along with applied skills labs, HQ tours, and community events. These activities aim to enhance participants’ skills, offering credentials in areas like GitHub Actions, GitHub Administration, and Microsoft Azure.
Extended Engagements and Networking
GitHub Universe 2025 also provides an array of networking opportunities. Attendees can visit the Open Source Zone to connect with community leaders or explore The Shop for the latest Copilot swag. Additionally, the event will host a Career Corner for job advice and a GitHub Expert Center for technical consultations.
For students, GitHub’s Social Impact programming offers virtual micro-mentoring sessions with GitHub employees. These sessions, running from October 20 to October 31, provide personalized career advice and skill development tips.
With its comprehensive agenda and range of activities, GitHub Universe 2025 is set to be an influential event for developers and tech enthusiasts, fostering connections and innovation in the realm of AI-powered development.
