ElevenLabs launches Turbo v2.5, offering low-latency text-to-speech in 32 languages, including new support for Vietnamese, Hungarian, and Norwegian.

ElevenLabs, a leading provider of text-to-speech (TTS) software, has announced the release of its latest model, Turbo v2.5. This new version significantly enhances the speed and quality of TTS across 32 languages, according to ElevenLabs.

Enhanced Speed and Language Support

The Turbo v2.5 model brings a threefold increase in processing speed for languages such as Hindi, French, Spanish, and Mandarin. This update aims to provide high-quality, low-latency conversational AI capabilities to nearly 80% of the global population. Notably, the model now includes support for Vietnamese, Hungarian, and Norwegian for the first time, while English processing speed has improved by 25%.

With Turbo v2.5, users can create premium AI voices and generate TTS voiceovers in minutes using ElevenLabs’ character AI voice generator. The platform supports text conversion to MP3 in 29 languages, featuring over 100 distinct voices. This upgrade is expected to benefit a wide range of applications, from personal use to enterprise-level deployments.
