Bitfinex releases version 7.7.0 of its mobile app, introducing performance improvements and new features, including enhanced navigation and express onboarding for El Salvador users.

The latest version of the Bitfinex mobile app, 7.7.0, has been launched, introducing a range of improvements and new features aimed at enhancing user experience, according to blog.bitfinex.com. This update focuses on performance stability and user interface enhancements.

Key Improvements

Among the significant changes, the app now includes improved performance and stability, which are expected to provide users with a smoother experience. Full-screen modals have been enhanced for a more seamless interaction, and the sign-up process has been simplified by hiding the Referral Code field for customers in the European Economic Area (EEA). Additionally, the update includes new icons for various tokens such as SONIC, HTXDAO, and EURR.

Express onboarding for Sub-Account Securities has been enabled specifically for users in El Salvador, reflecting Bitfinex’s tailored approach to meet regional needs. The Market Watch UI has also been updated to better separate ‘Add’ and ‘Remove’ actions, and navigation has been optimized for a faster experience.

Notable Fixes

The update addresses several bugs, including fixing the push notification restart trigger issue and improving error handling for restricted features. Other fixes involve resolving crashes related to full-screen modals and ensuring icons display correctly in the Market Watch picker. Furthermore, Bitfinex has worked on improving the app’s stability by addressing issues such as navigation failures and incorrect display of prohibited user messages.

Additionally, updates have been made to ensure that announcements are visible to unverified users, and a minimum limit for Fast Pay send has been established at 0.5 USD. These changes aim to streamline user interactions and minimize disruptions.

Community Engagement

Bitfinex encourages users to participate in their community by leaving reviews in app stores and providing feedback through the Bitfinex mobile user app survey. Users can also join the Bitfinex Telegram channel and Discord community to share their experiences and suggestions, emphasizing the value Bitfinex places on community input.
