- Bitcoin price returned to the USD 41,000 level.
- Ethereum broke the USD 2,720 resistance, XRP is eyeing an upside break above USD 0.80.
- SAND and CELO jumped 19% and 34%, respectively.
Bitcoin price started a fresh increase above the USD 40,000 resistance and tested USD 41,450. It is currently (04:07 UTC) correcting gains near USD 41,000 but still might continue to rise towards the USD 42,500 level.
Similarly, most major altcoins are also moving higher. ETH is up 5% and it broke the USD 2,720 resistance zone. XRP could gain bullish momentum if there is a clear move above USD 0.80. ADA is approaching the key USD 0.85 resistance.

Bitcoin price
After a sharp bearish reaction, bitcoin price started a fresh increase above the USD 40,000 level. It even cleared the USD 41,000 level and is now consolidating gains. It’s still up almost 5% in a day. The next key resistance is near the USD 41,550 level, above which the price could rise further in the near term.
If not, it could start a downside correction towards the USD 40,500 level. The next key support is near the USD 40,000 level, below which the price may perhaps retest USD 39,000.
Ethereum price
Ethereum price gained over 5% and there was a move above the USD 2,720 resistance. ETH even spiked above USD 2,750 while the next resistance is near the USD 2,850 level, above which the price could even surpass the USD 2,880 barrier.
On the downside, an initial support is near the USD 2,720 level. The next key support is near the USD 2,650 level, below which the price might decline to USD 2,600.
ADA, BNB, SOL, DOGE, and XRP price
Cardano (ADA) is moving higher and attempting an upside break above USD 0.85. If the bulls succeed, the price could accelerate. The next major resistance could be USD 0.90 or USD 0.92.
BNB is consolidating above the USD 380 level. The main breakout zone is near the USD 388 level. A clear move above USD 388 may perhaps open the doors for a move towards the USD 400 level.
Solana (SOL) is up over 6% and trading above the USD 85 resistance. It seems like the bulls are aiming for a test of the USD 95 level. Any more gains might even push the price above USD 100.
DOGE gained pace above the USD 0.115 resistance. It is now approaching the USD 0.118 resistance. The next major resistance is near the USD 0.120 level, where the bears might take a stand.
XRP price is moving higher and eyeing an upside break above the USD 0.80 resistance. A successful close above USD 0.80 could set the pace for a larger increase. The next stop might be USD 0.845.
Other altcoins market today
Many altcoins are up over 5%, including AVAX, DOT, MATIC, CRO, ATOM, LINK, MANA, SAND, RUNE, ZEC, AAVE, and CELO. Out of these, SAND jumped 19% and surpassed USD 3.20, increasing weekly gains to 9%. CELO rallied 34% and is now testing the USD 3.30 level. The price is up 12% in a week.
Overall, bitcoin price is showing positive signs above USD 40,000. If BTC clears USD 41,550, it could start another steady increase in the near term.
