- Bitcoin price is still fluctuating around USD 39,000.
- Ethereum keeps failing near USD 2,600, XRP is consolidating above USD 0.75.
- GRT and RUNE jumped 10%-14%.
Bitcoin price started another recovery wave above the USD 38,850 and USD 39,000 levels. BTC climbed above USD 39,500, before correcting below USD 39,000 again. The price is currently (04:02 UTC) consolidating above USD 38,700.
Similarly, most major altcoins are also fluctuating around important levels. ETH is stuck near USD 2,550, with a major hurdle near USD 2,600. XRP might attempt a fresh increase above the USD 0.80 resistance. ADA struggled to climb above the USD 0.82 resistance.

Bitcoin price
After forming a base, bitcoin price started a recovery wave above the USD 38,800 level and moved above USD 39,500. However, the bears remained active and there was no test of the USD 40,000 resistance. It is now consolidating below USD 39,000 while the next key resistance is still near the USD 40,000 zone, above which the price might start a steady increase.
If not, it could decline towards the USD 38,500 level. The next key support is near the USD 38,000 level, below which the price may perhaps retest USD 37,550.
Ethereum price
Ethereum price attempted an upside break above the USD 2,600 resistance, but failed. ETH is now consolidating below UD 2,550. The next key support is near the USD 2,500 level, below which the price might decline to USD 2,440.
If the bulls attempt an upside break above USD 2,600 and succeed, the price could rise to USD 2,650. The next resistance is near the USD 2,750 level.
ADA, BNB, SOL, DOGE, and XRP price
Cardano (ADA) spiked above the USD 0.81 level, but it failed to clear the USD 0.82 resistance. The price is now stuck in a range, with a key support at USD 0.78.
BNB is moving higher towards the USD 370 level. The first major resistance is near the USD 375 level, above which the price may perhaps rise towards the USD 385 level.
Solana (SOL) is trading near the USD 80 level. If there are additional losses, the price might decline towards the USD 75 level. The next major support is near the USD 72 level.
DOGE is stuck near the USD 0.112 level. On the upside, the price is facing resistance near the USD 0.115 level. The main barrier for a strong increase is still near the USD 0.120 level.
XRP price is consolidating above the USD 0.75 pivot zone. On the upside, the bears are active near the USD 0.80 level. A close above USD 0.80 might start a strong increase in the coming sessions.
Other altcoins market today
A few altcoins are up over 3%, including LUNA, NEAR, LINK, EGLD, AXS, RUNE, MIOTA, MKR, GRT, XEC, and BAT. Out of these, GRT rallied 10% and broke the USD 0.355 level, increasing its weekly gains to 11%. RUNE jumped 14% and reached USD 7.45. It’s now up 73% in a week.
Overall, bitcoin price is still struggling below USD 39,500 and USD 40,000, while another attempt to reach USD 40,000 is possible in the near term.
