Bitcoin price stayed above the USD 34,000 pivot level and it extended its rise. BTC surpassed the main USD 35,000 resistance to move further into a positive zone. It is currently (12:27 PM UTC) showing positive signs, but the bears might take a stand near USD 36,500 in the short-term.
Besides, most major altcoins are seemingly gaining bullish momentum. ETH surpassed the USD 2,150 resistance and it could climb above USD 2,200. XRP/USD moved above USD 0.70.

Bitcoin price
In the past two sessions, bitcoin price mostly saw bullish moves above USD 33,500. As a result, BTC climbed above the USD 35,000 resistance zone. It even surpassed USD 35,500. The first key resistance is near the USD 36,500 level. A successful break above USD 36,500 could set the pace for a move towards the USD 38,000 resistance.
On the downside, the USD 35,000 zone might act as a support. The next major support is now forming near the USD 34,200 level.
Ethereum price
Ethereum price is following a bullish path above the USD 2,100 level. ETH surpassed the USD 2,150 resistance and it might rise further. If there is a close above USD 2,200, the bulls might aim for a test of USD 2,320 in the coming sessions.
On the downside, the bulls might remain active near the USD 2,100 level. The next key support is now near USD 2,050.
BNB, LTC, DOGE, and XRP price
Binance Coin (BNB) extended its upward move above the USD 300 resistance. BNB is rising and it could even clear the USD 320 level. In this case, the price could test USD 340. Conversely, there might be a downside correction to USD 285.
Litecoin (LTC) is up over 10% and it cleared the USD 142 resistance. An immediate resistance is near USD 150. An hourly close above USD 150 could set the tone for a larger increase. On the downside, the USD 135 level might act as a strong support.
Dogecoin (DOGE) is attempting a steady increase above USD 0.265. If the bulls succeed, the price could continue to rise towards USD 0.300. If not, there is a risk of a fresh decline towards the USD 0.220 support zone.
XRP price gained pace and it was able to settle above the USD 0.650 level and move above USD 0.70. On the downside, the previous resistance near USD 0.650 might provide support in the near term.
Other altcoins market today
Many altcoins climbed over 15%, including EGLD, ETC, COMP, BSV, AAVE, SHIB, BTG, QTUM, ATOM, ICP, ZIL, CRV, XEM, OMG, and ANKR. Out of these, ETC rallied over 24% and it cleared the USD 50 level.
To sum up, bitcoin price surpassed a major hurdle at USD 35,000. If there is a daily close above USD 35,000, there are chances of a steady increase towards USD 38,000 or even USD 40,000 in the coming days.
